WORK could be carried out to make it easier for people with mobility problems and parents with prams to reach a beauty spot.
Four dropped crossings are expected to be created on roads in the Newark Road area of the Fens estate, Hartlepool, so people can get up and down the kerbs.
The scheme, which has been recommended for approval by Hartlepool Borough Council's South Neighbourhood Consultative Forum, aims to provide easier access to the estate and, in particular, Greatham Beck Local Nature Reserve.
If it is approved by the council, the £1,650 cost will be met from the forum's minor works budget.
