PART-time police officers in the North Yorkshire force's eastern area have been honoured for their efforts to help the public.
The awards were presented at police headquarters in Newby Wiske, Northallerton, by Chief Superintendent Sue Day and operations commander Superintendent Iain Spittal.
Special constables Hazel Thompson, of Helmsley, Raffi Aghanian, of Scarborough, and Senior Officer Nigel Kettlewell, from Malton, received awards for their personal contribution to policing.
A team award for work with the courts service in bringing outstanding offenders and fine defaulters to court and the recovery of outstanding fines went to Area Officer Martin McKay, Senior Officer Howard Cliff, and special constables Zoe Fothergill, Barrie Mapp, Phil Burton and Paul Grainger.
Steve Mallinson, the court enforcement officer of the North Yorkshire Courts Service, also received an award.
