POPSTAR Cheryl Tweedy will be picking up style tips from Victoria Beckham in the run-up to her wedding.

The Girls Aloud star, from Heaton, Newcastle, is about to become a real Footballer's Wife when she ties the knot with Arsenal and England left-back Ashley Cole.

After feeling underdressed wearing a jumper to watch her fianc play, Cheryl revealed she is turning to Posh Spice to vamp-up her image.

The pair are planning a Madrid shopping spree. Cheryl, 22, is wearing a £50,000 ring after Ashley popped the question back in June, but the couple have yet to name the day.

At England football matches, Cheryl has been spotted sitting in the terraces alongside Victoria Beckham and Coleen McLoughlin.

Cheryl said: "The first time I went to an England match to watch Ashley was so embarrassing.

"All the other girls were really glammed-up, then I walked in with chipped nail polish and wearing a jumper. I think I looked terrible. But Victoria was down-to-earth and welcoming.

"She wasn't intimidating or starry at all. We had a right laugh together."

She said: "Victoria's going to take me shopping in Madrid.

"I would love her to style me because she always looks fantastic."
