AN organisation dedicated to beating rural crime is inviting people to hunt for treasure later this month.
The Darlington Countryside Crime Watch scheme is staging a treasure trail on Friday, October 28, starting at 6.30pm.
Organisers are keeping the starting point under wraps, but the trail will end at the St George Hotel, at Durham Tees Valley Airport.
Chief Superintendent Andy Summerbell, of Durham Police, will be presenting prizes for the event.
Entry is £10, and the ticket will include supper, raffle and a quiz.
To enter, or for more information, call 07768 934188.
