Rob Andrew takes charge of his 300th competitive game as Newcastle Falcons' director of rugby at Leicester on Friday.
The former England fly half played his last game for Wasps a decade ago before taking over the Newcastle reins on October 21, 1995, in a Courage League Two game at home to Northampton.
In his 299 competitive games in charge, he has won 163, lost 127 and drawn nine.
Andrew said: "To be part of a club which has changed beyond all recognition in the last decade is something really special.
"There are a whole load of people who have played a big part in that, and the continual ambition we all have for this club has never been diluted.
"A huge amount of progress has been made in making professional rugby a part of the North-East sporting landscape, but that process is still very much ongoing.
Leicester have named a powerful line-up, with England captain Martin Corry leading a team that includes eight Test players and one Sevens international.
Corry will skipper the pack, with Louis Deacon and James Hamilton forming a new-look second row.
