A THREE-MONTH public consultation seeking views on the provision of acute services in east Durham will begin next week.
People in the district of Easington are being invited to have their say on the recommendations by Sir Ara Darzi in his report of acute services in the Hartlepool and Teesside areas.
Residents will be able to voice their views on Monday, at a meeting in the Glebe Centre, Murton, between 10am and 1pm.
A panel of experts from Easington Primary Care Trust, North Tees and Hartlepool and South Tees Hospital Trusts will be on hand to answer questions.
Professor Darzi, a distinguished surgeon, who has carried out a number of hospital reviews on behalf of the Government, was invited to review services in Hartlepool and North and South Teesside.
