STUDENTS were rewarded for their diligence at a school awards ceremony last night.
Pupils from Hurworth School Maths and Computing College near Darlington were given trophies and certificates for subjects they excelled in.
Parents watched as pupils in years seven to nine received their awards. Guest speaker was Peter Barron, editor of The Northern Echo.
