VISUALLY-impaired youngsters have been making a racket - and their teachers couldn't be more pleased.
As part of the Government's Every Child Matters initiative, students at Henshaws College, in Harrogate, got to grips with steel drums and tambourines to produce their own musical works of art.
Led by workshop leader Matt Burrows, they got the opportunity to make as much noise as possible.
Mr Burrows enjoyed the experience so much he has decided to return to the college to work with the youngsters on future projects.
He said: "The young people were truly inspiring to work with and their views will be used as part of the Children and Young People's plan that is currently being drawn up."
Henshaws student volunteer co-ordinator Asha Munn said: "It was great to see students having so much fun making lots of noise."
The Every Child Matters strategy was produced by the Government last year to provide better planned care and support for all children and young people.
