A PRISON guard who raped inmates at a young offenders' institution has been told he must never work with children again.
Prison cook Neville Husband, 67, raped and sexually abusing boys in the kitchen store rooms at Medomsley Detention Centre, near Consett, County Durham.
The father-of-one abused his power in a gross and wicked way that amounted to a campaign of homosexual rape, Newcastle Crown Court was told.
Husband's sentence was increased to ten years after he admitted further assaults last month and he was brought back to court yesterday.
Judge Esmond Faulks told the court yesterday: "I add to the previous sentence Mr Husband should be disqualified from working with children indefinitely."
Married Husband, who later trained as a minister for the United Reformed Church, was serving as the Reverend Husband when he was jailed for eight years after a jury found him guilty of a series of sickening sex attacks.
Six further ex-Medomsley inmates contacted police after they found out Husband had been jailed.
Husband, formerly of Snows Green road, Shotley Bridge, Consett, admitted sexually assaulting four of them.
