YOUNG swimmers have come away from an annual gala with five honours.
Seven members of the Thirsk White Horse swim team competed in the event, in Sheffield.
The gala is one of a few remaining events made up purely of 50-metre races for the four main strokes - breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly.
Jennifer Crewdson, 15, won three trophies for her performances in freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly, while Greg Ient, 12, won trophies for freestyle and butterfly.
Instead of medals, they were presented with teaspoons to celebrate the city's cutlery industry.
