PLANS to reorganise acute healthcare in the Teesside area will be discussed at two public meetings in Sedgefield borough this month.
Residents are invited to consultation events at Sedgefield Parish Hall, Sedgefield village, on Monday, and at The Red Lion, Trimdon village, on Thursday, October 20. Both meetings will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
The proposed changes to health services, which focus on Stockton and Hartlepool, have been put forward by Professor Sir Ara Darzi.
A leaflet setting out Prof Darzi's recommendations, details about how people can comment and a detailed consultation document can be obtained from from Sedgefield Primary Care Trust on 0191 301 3820.
