ROYAL Bank of Scotland (RBS) is creating more than 50 jobs in the region with the opening of a car repair centre.
The company's insurance arm will open the 18,500sq ft accident repair centre at Teesway, North Tees Industrial Estate, in Stockton, in January. It will be RBS Insurance's 15th UK accident repair centre.
Spokeswoman Gill Murphy said the centre would serve the Middlesbrough and Stockton areas, and would carry out repairs on vehicles insured through RBS -including the Direct Line, Churchill and Privilege brands.
Vacancies include painters, panel beaters, MET (Mechanical, Electrical, Trim) fitters, recovery drivers, valeters, parts technicians, estimators and apprentices.
