DETECTIVES recovered heroin and cannabis during two raids on Teesside homes.
Houses in Tithe Barn Road and Cornforth Close, both Hardwick, Stockton, were raided by members of the town's drug unit on Monday night as part of its ongoing fight against drugs.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the house in Tithe Barn Road on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis. A 25-year-old woman was arrested in Cornforth Close on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
The drug unit's Sergeant Tom Drysdale said: "Stockton drugs unit always acts on intelligence on drug activity from the public. Seven addresses have been searched in the last fortnight, leading to significant recoveries of cannabis and heroin.
"Our fight against drugs in the area is relentless and we will continue to track down those who peddle drugs in Stockton."
