Three Yorkshire jumps tracks will award a special trophy to the leading conditional rider this season in memory of Tom Halliday.
Halliday died after a fall at Market Rasen earlier this year prompting Wetherby, Catterick and Doncaster to introduce the Tom Halliday Memorial Trophy in his honour.
Conditional jockeys will be awarded points on a varying scale for finishing in the first three placings.
Each rider who completes the race on an unplaced horse at any of the three tracks will gain one point.
The competition begins on October 12 and will run until June 1.
l King Harald could make his seasonal reappearance at Stratford later this month - granted suitable ground - before bidding for the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup.
