THERE'S an opportunity for all the family to learn more about healthy living thanks to free events this month.
As part of national Family Learning Week, there will be workshops and displays at Hartlepool Central Library aimed at helping people boost their health and wellbeing.
An arts and crafts workshop will be held on Monday, from 10am to 11.30am, and noon to 1.30pm, to help people find relaxing hobbies.
Healthy snacks will be the order of the day next Tuesday, between 10am and 11.30am, and 12.30pm and 2pm, and displays on healthy living will be on show on Wednesday, October 12, between 2pm and 5pm.
On Thursday, October 13, the spotlight will be on health in the workplace, with displays by Hartlepool College of Further Education, between 9am and noon, and 1pm and 4pm.
In addition, a variety of information will be available in the library throughout the week, on topics ranging from men's health to diabetes.
