A CONCERT is being organised to raise money for a student's gap year trip to Borneo.
Robin Bisson, who has just left St Aidan's School, in Harrogate, is raising funds to pay for a four-month visit to Borneo before he takes up his place to study maths at Bristol University, next year.
While in the country, he will carry out conservation work in a rain forest and teach children in a village school.
He has already spent time busking in York with his violin to raise extra funds.
On Friday, October 14, the five singers of Harrogate-based group Quintessential will sing a programme of music from five centuries at Holy Trinity Church, Ripon.
The group has performed all over the country and has made two recordings.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, which cost £5, are available by calling (01765) 600393 or at the door.
