A GROUP of hair stylists swapped their scissors for wooden spoons when they baked cakes for charity.
The staff at Tangles hair salon in Post House Wynd, Darlington, decided to sell homemade biscuits and cakes to raise money for breast cancer research.
As well as selling the sweet treats on Saturday, the staff all paid £1 to dress in pink T-shirts and decked the shop out in pink.
In the summer, a group of female staff from Tangles took part in the Race for Life in Darlington. They raised £600 for Cancer Research UK.
