A YOUTH representative from Sunderland is heading to Darlington to see if he can pick up a few tips.
Grant Hollis, Sunderland's member of the youth parliament (MYP), will be in Darlington today.
He will meet Darlington's MYP, Kevin Nicholson. The pair will visit the town hall to meet the town's mayor, Stella Robson.
Then they will visit Carmel RC Technology College and Gurney Pease Primary School, where they will be quizzed by children on the school councils.
They will have lunch at Maidendale House, and meet Dave Preston, the chairman of the Firthmoor Community Partnership, before being given a tour of Darlington's South Park. In the evening, Grant will attend the youth service Vibe awards which reward the achievements of young people.
