Teesside Athletic, in their first season in the competition, moved into sixth with an emphatic victory over Gateshead Low Fell.
An early goal from Billy Millington was cancelled out by Shaun Donkin but Teesside regained the advantage through James Kesterton before a brace from Gary Young.
Wolviston lost 4-1 at home to Whitehaven and the result was just about settled inside the opening 32 minutes. Johnny Wright, Mike Farrer and Carl McGrady all penetrated the home defence and Stephen Hewitt made it four, six minutes into the second period. There were only four minutes remaining as John Cairns scored a consolation goal.
Coxhoe Athletic gave a much-improved performance before losing to a late strike by Annfield Plain's Kris Soulsby.

Birtley Town still lead the table despite being held to a draw at home to Stokesley SC who equalised through Mark Chisholm with an 89th-minute penalty. Birtley had led for 71 minutes following Wayne Booth's early goal.
Cleadon SC comfortably defeated league rivals Ryhope CW in the Preliminary Round of the Durham Challenge Cup.
An own goal gave them a 20th-minute lead before Finbar Lynch rifled a hat-trick in the last 25 minutes.
