DETECTIVES are trying to trace items stolen from a house in Ferryhill Market Place at the weekend.
They recovered some of the haul from a shop in the town and are appealing for other shopkeepers to come forward if they have been offered electrical goods or jewellery.
The burglary was reported on Saturday morning and a man has been arrested and released on police bail.
Still missing are a Goodlams silver microwave, a Pacific video and DVD player, DVDs, an Aiwa stacking hi-fi and up to eight Myth and Magic pewter ornaments.
