AGE is no barrier when it comes to raising money for charity, as one group of happy toddlers have proved.
The youngsters from the Toddlers Group at Romanby, Northallerton, raised more than £535 in a sponsored toddle.
Accompanied by their families, they toddled around Romanby -from the hall to the park -to raise money for the Friarage Hospital's Mowbray Suite, which looks after cancer patients.
One of the organisers, Leah Forster, was treated at the suite and took part in the event with her son Reuben, aged two.
Sister Susan Whitehead said: "We will be using the money to buy two combined TV and DVD recorders for patients to watch while they are receiving their treatment to help pass the time and make their visit more comfortable and enjoyable."
