Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is to start its latest six-monthly road maintenance programme across the borough's main routes.
The work, which includes gully cleansing and repairs to road signs, plus street lighting and safety barrier maintenance, is being phased over six major stretches of road to minimise traffic disruption.
The programme starts on Monday, with seven days work from the A174 Greystones roundabout to the Redcar Lane roundabout.
The rest of the timetable is as follows:
October 11 and 12: A1085 West Coatham roundabout to ICI West Gate roundabout.
October 13-20: A171 Swans Corner to Cemetery Corner.
October 21: A171 Birk Brow.
October 22-29: A1053 Tees Dock Road.
October 24-28: A66/A1053 West Gate roundabout to A171 Cargo Fleet Lane roundabout.
