RESIDENTS of Teesdale could soon be allowed to ask questions at council meetings.
Teesdale District Council's executive committee is expected to implement new rules, which would allow 30 minutes for a public question time at each meeting of the full council.
Members of the public would be allowed to put previously submitted questions to the council leader, executive committee members or chairmen of committees.
The executive committee is expected to approve the new procedure at its meeting on Monday, at 2pm, in the council chamber at Teesdale House, Barnard Castle.
