EXHIBITORS turned out in force to display their produce at an annual leek show in Shildon.
Elm Road Workingmen's Club put on an impressive display of leeks, flowers and other exhibits at the weekend.
At the end of the show, those taking part dug deep into their pockets to bid for their exhibits. The auction raised £150 for the Aged Members and Children's fund at the club.
Treasurer Alan Wild said there had been an excellent turnout.
He said: "The judges were very impressed with the high quality of exhibits, especially the flowers.
"We were also pleased with how much we raised from the auction. Members of the club always stop back afterwards and we had a good bit of fun with the auction and managed to raise quite a bit of money.''
