RESIDENTS are invited to a health fair to check on their own health and personal wellbeing.
People will also be able to find out more about local health services at Stockton Library tomorrow from 9.30am to 4.30pm in an event organised by the North Tees Primary Care Trust (PCT).
Members of the public will be able to have their blood pressure checked, seek advice on how to stop smoking, find out about free flu jabs, obtain dietary advice, hear about organised healthy walks and more.
Visitors to the fair will also be able to test how clean their hands are.
The PCT's control of infection nurse will then be able to give advice on how best to keep hands clean and avoid infection, particularly if going into hospital either as a patient or a visitor.
The health fair will include North Tees PCT's annual meeting.
