CONSTRUCTION consultancy company AA Projects has opened an office in the North-East.
The company already had offices in Manchester and Liverpool, and has now opened another in Darlington. AA Projects is already involved in £120m of construction in the region.
It is project managing and providing strategic planning for a £34.5m development at Darlington College.
The campus is the first building under construction as part of a £170m plan for the brownfield site, Central Park, and marks the biggest investment in vocational training made in the Tees Valley.
In Newcastle, AA Projects is working with the university on its £30m Barras Bridge development, a 30,000sq metre building designed to provide a world-class entrance to the campus, a home for the Business School and additional space for administration.
It is also working with Newcastle City Council on a library project, which will replace the Basil Spence building in the city centre.
