PEOPLE keen to further their education are being encouraged to sample a new range of courses.
Taster sessions for courses covering a range of subjects are being offered at the Crown Street Library, in Darlington.
The two-hour sessions - held on Tuesday, September 27 and Thursday, September 29 - will give adults the chance to sample a course that interests them without having to sign up for a full term of lessons.
Subjects on offer include you are what you eat, embroidery, DIY for women, felt making, French and Spanish, knitting, singing, sewing, drama and woodwork.
The tasters are held at Longfield School, Darlington, from 6pm to 8pm.
The full courses are available at venues throughout the town, including Crown Street and Cockerton libraries, Sadberge Village Hall, Hummersknott School and Language College and the Maidendale House community centre.
Details of the full range of courses are available in a leaflet available from local libraries and other council buildings.
