WALKERS showing off their bras will raise money for charity this weekend.
Dozens of women -and men -are expected to take part in the Masham Bra Walk on Saturday to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research (YCR).
Walk organiser Sharon Carter said: "I lost my brother, Neville, last month to cancer and wanted to organiser a fundraising event for the charity in his memory.
"Neville would be proud of us and thankful for all the support we have received from local residents and companies."
The five-mile walk will start at the Bay Horse, in Masham, at 6pm.
The route takes walkers to Swinton and then on to Fearby, stopping for a drink at the Black Swan.
On their return to Masham, walkers are invited to visit the White Bear, the Bruce Arms, the King's Head and the Bay Horse again.
Alison Mills, who will take part, said: "We are looking for further sponsorship from local companies and residents of the village.
"The research work in Yorkshire funded by YCR is vital in moving towards eradicating cancer."
