A woman who was treated at a North-East hospital has helped raise hundreds of pounds towards its work.
Hazel Dent held a coffee morning in the parish hall at Barnard Castle, County Durham, at the weekend. The event raised £742 for the Royal Victoria Infirmary burns unit, in Newcastle, where Mrs Dent was once treated, as well as Macmillan Cancer Relief and St Teresa's Hospice, in Darlington. She thanked everyone who helped make the morning a success.
