YOUNGSTERS and their parents can enjoy some number crunching at a maths evening.
Fairfield Primary School, in Stockton, is inviting pupils and their parents to an evening of fun activities, on Wednesday, as part of a week of events to celebrate all things mathematical.
It will take place between 6pm and 8pm and there will be a host of challenges, including a crystal maze, and the Happy Puzzle Company will be there to provide games and activities.
Headteacher Judith Harrison said: "We want our children to develop a passion for mathematics and to see how enjoyable and useful it can be. This week of events will raise the profile of maths for all our children and allow parents and children to enjoy games and activities together."
