SWATHES of colour greeted visitors to a North Yorkshire church at the weekend.
Flowers of all shapes, sizes, smells and colours were on display at Romanby Methodist Church, in Romanby, near Northallerton.
The Reverend Rachel Parkinson declared the two-day event a huge success. She said: "It was a fabulous festival and it was great to see so many different groups bringing flowers and so many people coming to see them.
"We really appreciated the support from different churches and community groups."
