FINE weather and large crowds helped make an annual agricultural show a big success.
More than 18,000 visitors flocked to Stokesley Show, in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, on Saturday.
Attractions included the Mega Minis stunt show, hounds from the Cleveland Hunt, vintage tractors, heavy horses and numerous stalls and games.
Sheep entries were up by 80 and most other classes saw an increase on last year.
Musical entertainment was provided by the Lindley Band and the Preston Gavioli Organ and Dancers.
Incoming show secretary Janette Hugill said: "It was a wonderful day. The weather was so lovely, which always helps the turnout."
A presentation was held for outgoing secretary Alan Weighell at the end of the show.
Despite handing over the position of secretary which he has held for 40 years, he will continue to help run the event in to the future.
