BOW School, in Durham, is staging an autumn fair and open day later this month.
The fair, organised by the school's Parents and Friends Association, will provide an afternoon of fun and entertainment for the children as well as an opportunity for parents to see what the school has to offer.
Bow School, off South Road and Quarryheads Lane, was founded in 1885 as the preparatory school for Durham School, and now offers independent education for boys aged three to 13.
It is to phase out its last two years and admit girls at all levels from next September, from when it will be co-ed for three to 11-year-olds.
The fair takes place on Sunday, September 25, from 2pm to 4pm and entry is free.
