Marton swept to victory and into the Premier Division of the Darlington Building Society NYSD Premier League with an emphatic victory over Redcar in the final game of the season.
Chris Lane's side required 14 points to celebrate but in the event they took all 20 after reducing already relegated Redcar to 116 all out.
The Seasiders didn't make it easy and battled for 43 overs before their innings closed. Stephen Law hit six and seven boundaries in a defiant half century but throughout the innings the Marton attack was on top.
Dean Kirby delivered an economical 17 overs including eight maidens capturing five wickets for a mere 22 runs and Graham Shaw returned five for 46 from 19 overs.
Shaw and Mark Foster then made light of their task when they opened Marton's reply. The pair added 80 with Shaw hitting five boundaries in 46 while Foster had three sixes and as many fours out of 37. Rhys Barker maintained the momemtum scoring 20 of his 24 not out in boundaries and after 19.1 overs Marton were celebrating.
Thornaby, who completed their programme a week earlier, were in pole position but finish runners-up.
Blackhall are third after they overtook the formidable Darlington total of 229 for five with six wickets intact.
Tony Booth struck a six and eight fours in 82 not out, John Darby had one six and nine fours contributing 57 and Paul Moss bound the boundarline on five occasions making 43. Three of the four wickets to fall were taken by John Stock for 74 runs in 12 overs.

Seaton were 113 for six when the weather intervened to bring down the curtain on the season.
Tynedale, who lost four of the first six games, retained the Foster's Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League championship when their crunch game at Ashington was abandoned because of rain.
Tynedale were in a precarious position with Ashington 82 for the loss of just two wickets, needing only 118 runs to win the title.
Durham County's Ben Harmison and skipper David Rutherford shared eight wickets reducing Tynedale to a modest 117 all out from no fewer than 47.3 overs.
With one eye on the weather, Ashington hurried with Neil Wood contributing 33 but in the end the only winner was the rain. Had the Colliers scored another 36 runs they would have been crowned champions.
Relegated Lanchester were all out for just 56 at home to Shotley Bridge for whom the former Durham County player David Jackson took five for 24. Phil Brown with 64 top-performed in the Bridge total of 119.
Burnopfield were relegated when they took just two points from their game with Benwell and Walbottle. Graeme Angus and Stephen Reed reduced the home side to 109 before 47 by Angus and a useful unbeaten 25 from Graeme Dakers earned Benwell an eight-wickets win and First Division survival.
