A NATIONAL medical seminar is to be staged at Durham University's Collingwood College.
The annual research presentation day of the North of England faculty of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Northern Primary Care Research Network is to be held on November 10.
The event is one of the largest meetings for primary care-based researchers in the country and reflects issues and topics of relevance to primary care.
More than 100 representatives are expected to attend and there will be 40 research presentations from general practice and academic centres.
The studies which have been carried out will cover a broad range, from clinical research relating to disease as well as health services and research education.
The presenters will include healthcare professionals as well as general practitioners.
The guest speaker for the day will be Dr Lisa Cotterill, director of the National Co-ordinating Centre for Research Capacity Development.
