PUPILS from Yarm Preparatory School enjoyed a day searching for marine life in the rock pools at Robin Hood's Bay, near Whitby, on the east coast.
The year six children took part in a two-day field trip, staying overnight at the Boggle Hole YHA hostel.
They studied the marine life of the seashore and the geographical features of the coastline. On one evening, the youngsters walked along the Whitby to Scarborough disused railway line.
They also enjoyedcompleting a town trail, especially visits to the Old Coast Guard Station and a traditional sweet shop.
