A NEW community arts project is to be launched next week at an autumn fair in the county town of North Yorkshire.
A sculpture trail has been created at Northdale Horticulture, a charity that provides work for adults with learning difficulties, in Northallerton.
The sculptures have been created over the past year by six artists from Thirsk-based Rural Arts, together with groups visiting the centre.
The trail will be launched at the fair, next Sunday, when there will also be a plant sale and a chance to have a go at such old traditions as water divining and worm-charming.
Rural Arts runs a range of creative projects and training across North Yorkshire ranging from craft and sculpture to web design.
