CONCERNS are growing for a woman who has been missing from home for more than a week.
Carol Aldworth was last seen on Wednesday, September 7. She had been shopping before being dropped off at her home in Pennine View, Tow Law, County Durham.
She then left the house without speaking to anyone or leaving a note and has not been seen since. Her partner, Brian Corrigan, said he did not see her leave and has no idea where she has gone.
Several calls, including one on Wednesday, have been made from her mobile phone but police cannot confirm whether Ms Aldworth made the calls herself.
The calls have been traced to different parts of London.
Police are anxious to trace the 46-year-old because she has been on medication and it is not thought she has taken it with her. She is 5ft 7in, slim with curly, shoulder-length blonde hair. She has blue eyes and wears glasses. On the day she went missing, she was wearing a black denim jacket over a black vest top with sequins on it, and black jeans.
