MIDDLESBROUGH Primary Care Trust (PCT) has arranged a Question Time-style public debate about smoking in enclosed public places.
The panel is made up of Peter Kelly, director of health improvement and public health at the PCT, Middlesbrough Mayor Ray Mallon, and a representative from Forest (Freedom Organisation for the Right to Enjoy Smoking Tobacco)
Anyone who lives or works in Middlesbrough and Eston is invited ask the panel questions.
Sue Barnard, the PCT's tobacco control lead, said: "There is a growing trend to want more and more smoke-free enclosed public places in Middlesbrough.
"This is the only way forward to help protect the health of employees and the public"
The debate will be on Wednesday, at the Europa Building, University of Teesside, between 6.30pm and 8pm, and will be chaired by local television presenter Paul Frost.
To pose a question to the panel, contact Ms Barnard on (01642) 352360.
