A NORTH-EAST football club is making changes to a successful scheme that has seen supporters enjoy free carveries on match days.
Most season ticket holders at Darlington FC have used their free carvery voucher, but Saturday's home game against Oxford United will be their last chance to do so without booking.
From the end of this month, those wanting to use the voucher will have to make a booking ahead of the match day by contacting the club.
This weekend will also see hog roasts being served in the Corner Bar and Bar 66 after the match.
Fans who do not hold season tickets will get their first chance to take advantage of the carveries at the match against Macclesfield Town on Friday, October 7, at a cost of £5.99.
Season ticket holders and unlimited guests will continue to be able to take advantage of the carveries at £4.99.
Club chairman Stewart Davies said: "Now that the majority of season ticket holders have tried the fans' carveries - and the response has been excellent - we feel it is time to open up the pre-match feasts to non-season ticket holders."
