A CHARITY is looking for homes for two puppies.
Samantha and Sarah are seven-week-old mongrels, of medium size with short hair.
The puppies were taken in by animal charity the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL) near Darlington.
Pauline Wilson, of the charity, said: "They are very pretty little girls. Sarah is black and white and she is the lively outgoing one.
"Samantha is black, white and brown and she looks like her mother, but is a little bit shyer than her sister."
Mrs Wilson said the puppies needed to be taken in by someone who spends most of their time at home, as they require a lot of attention while so young. "It's a big commitment, looking after a puppy," said Mrs Wilson. "It can be like running around after a two-year-old. They are hard work."
Anyone who can offer one, or both, of the puppies a home is asked to telephone (01325) 321855 or 07748 268822.
