LEAFLETS are being left on the windscreens of disabled drivers' cars to inform people of the changes as part of Darlington's pedestrian heart scheme.
On Sunday, various changes in the town centre will affect all traffic, including blue badge holders.
From September 18, there will no longer be any town centre blue badge on-street parking, except in designated bays.
Blue badge holders will still be able to park in Skinnergate and will be able to park free for three hours in all council car parks.
Leaflets about the new arrangements are being left on cars displaying the badges.
Leaflets are also available from the town hall, the Tourist Information Service and Darlington Association on Disability.
