A YOUNG diabetes sufferer missing from home without her medication since last week has been seen.
Louise Vincent has been missing since September 1 when she left a house in Chilton, County Durham.
She needs insulin regularly and police believe she may have contacted a pharmacy.
Police appealed for help in tracing the 25-year-old after she failed to return to a house in Dene Street, where she had been staying with friends.
She boarded a bus from Chilton to Durham City on the morning of Tuesday, September 6.
Although she was christened Louise Sharp, she recently used the surname Vincent and had also been known as Louise Marsh.
A police spokesman said inquiries suggested she may be in the Ryton area of Sunderland. He said: "This lady has done nothing wrong. We are interested in her purely because we are concerned for her welfare.
"If any pharmacist has spoken to Louise in the last few days, we would like them to get in touch urgently."
She is slim, with brown eyes and shoulder-length dark hair that has red highlights and is usually tied in a ponytail. Call police on 0845 60 60 365.
