PROFITS from a book written by a legendary striker are heading straight to charity.
Hillstreet shopping centre is sponsoring the autobiography of ex-Middlesbrough football hero Bernie Slaven.
Legend focuses on his career as the club's top scorer of the past 30 years and his new media role as one of the Three Legends on Century FM radio.
All profits from the book will go to Redcar-based charity Ann Charlton Lodge, a residential home for the care of people with multiple sclerosis and related conditions.
All subscriptions received by September 25 will be entered into a draw, with the first ten getting theirs hand-delivered by Bernie Slaven.
To order a copy, send a cheque for £22.50, made payable to Bernie Slaven Charity Book, to 38 Westwood Avenue, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough.
