A THREE-year-old cat is looking for a new home after being taken in by a charity.
Megan, a dark tortoiseshell, was found in Darlington about three months ago.
She was in good condition and was rescued by the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL), who hoped her owner would come forward.
However, three months later, they have given up hope - and now want to find a new home.
Pauline Wilson, of NASSL, said: "Megan is a beautiful cat with big green eyes and a sweet nature. She loves sunbathing.
"She would be a nice companion for another cat as she is very laid back. She would be okay with a dog, as long as the dog was used to cats."
Anyone who is interested in offering Megan a home can call Mrs Wilson on (01325) 321855.
