A CONCERT is to be held in memory of a hospital worker.
Pat Conlon, who was superintendent radiographer at Darlington Memorial Hospital, died in March after a short illness.
The wife of ex-Darlington and Hartlepool United footballer Bryan Conlon, her career at the hospital spanned 40 years and she was praised for her teaching work.
The concert will take place at Redworth Hall, near Heighington, on Friday, September 23, at 7.15pm.
Among the performers will be North-East group Fourum and Flossie, a singer originally from the south of France, but now living in Darlington.
There will also be a raffle and prizes include £500 worth of Argos vouchers, a week's holiday at a house in Tuscany and a week in a dales cottage.
Tickets for the event cost £17.50 and can be booked by telephoning (01325) 743223.
