A MAN who sexually abused a horse in front of a woman and her 12-year-old daughter is being hunted by police.
The pervert was seen in a field near Milldene Town Farm, in Jarrow, South Tyneside, on Saturday evening, carrying out a sickening act with the animal.
Police were called, but the man escaped before they arrived.
Officers are appealing for information to find the man and question him on suspicion of outraging public decency.
A police spokesman said: "The woman and her daughter were understandably shocked by what they saw and rightly called the police.
"We are now hoping to hear from anybody who might know the man so we can find out exactly what he thought he was up to."
The man was in his early 20s, 5ft 6in with ginger hair.
He wore a black top with red writing on it, and navy jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
