A MAN was left unconscious after being attacked in Crook.
The victim, who was in his early 20s, was punched and knocked unconscious in the attack, which involved about 12 men in Crook Market Place, on Sunday, at 11pm
The victim was taken to Bishop Auckland General Hospital and was released after treatment to facial injuries early the following day.
Three men, in their 20s and 30s, were questioned and released on police bail pending further inquiries
