A HOSPITAL team has been awarded Investors in People status.
The Integrated Mental Health Services team, based at the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton, has won the award, which this year was revised to emphasise employee motivation, involvement and engagement.
The assessor's report concluds that the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust "has clearly put much time and effort into the planning and development of the service as a whole, including consideration for the involvement and development of its people".
Terry Sharkey, trust general manager, said: "This review reflects the time, effort and commitment all staff in Stockton put into the delivery of high-quality mental health services. It also confirms staff involvement and engagement in both personal and service development as we work towards the development of the trust's advance modernisation programme."
