A WOMAN accused of attempting to snatch purses from elderly people was granted bail yesterday.
Kinga Klaudia Pawlowska, 21, was remanded in custody over the bank holiday accused of conspiring with another to steal purses in Marks and Spencer's, Harrogate, last Thursday.
Peter Scott, prosecuting, sought a further remand in custody for Ms Pawlowska, of Roundhay, Leeds, at Harrogate Magistrates' Court.
But chairman Michael Jefferies bailed her until September 8 on conditions including surrendering her passport.
